Andre Jackson Pride Party Update!

I jumped the gun, kids. 

Andre's party at Imbibe is also a PARADE VIEWING BASH on the Imbibe rooftop! Watch the floats roll by in style, dahling. I've chosen this location as my parade viewing point for the last two years, and it's been five-star fabulous. Cocktails, festivities, comfort, shade. Highly recommend. 

Doors open at 10 a.m. Get there early for primo spots. 

Stay for the after-party, as that's when my crew will roll in. Be sure and give us insanely loud props as we float by on the Local iQ Fabü float! We'll be hollering back at ya'! 

Pride is almost here! So excited! Total family weekend!

Get 'Cho Gay On!

Don't forget: Albuquerque Gay Pride weekend is in just a few days.  Please come to the fab parade Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. The Local iQ float rules!  

Andre Jackson is hosting a post-parade cocktail party at Imbibe. This promises to be both bossy and scandalous. Starts immediately after the parade. All are welcome. We'll be there. Cheers! 

We're spending the evening and overnight at Tribal Splash. 

Sunday, perhaps croquet...? It is, after all, that time of year.

Speaking of Gay Days...

Albuquerque Pride is right around the corner: June 9 - 11.  I will see you Saturday morning (June 11) at 10:30 a.m. on Central Avenue from Girard to San Pedro for the 35th (wow!) annual Pride parade. 

I'll be on a float, dahling. It'll be easy to spot me; that's all I can reveal. Holla at your girl! 

Post-parade, I'm celebrating Saturday night 'til the wee hours of Sunday morn at Tribal Splash at the Radisson Resort and Water Park. 

The entire property is exclusively reserved for 24 hours of all-inclusive entertainment events, including drag shows, water slides, specialty cocktails, swimming to disco music, hot dancers, dual wave machines + surfing lessons, laser light show, tasty buffets, DJs DeLorezo, Flo-Fader (loves!), Jesse Hutton, NYC's Joe Gauthreaux and, direct from Las Vegas, the fabulous Kristine W and her fierce back-up dancers. Once I can no longer dance, a soft bed will be steps away, as I have a room at the resort. 

Helloooo?!? How much fun am I going to have!?!

Four Words: Post-Rapture Looting Party.  I think I can safely declare that now that I've heard those four words, I can die happy.

In anticipation of Saturday's rapture, fabulous jackasses around the country are hosting post-rapture looting parties. You might need to host one, too. I'm seriously contemplating.

My lovely friends, Cali and Meghan (seen here with crutches, which are long since gone), have arrived for a week-long visit here at the chic treehouse. After a few domestic stops, they're then heading to Australia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Phillipines and Bali for several months. They're basically the coolest couple ever.

Such a lovely place (such a lovely place)... such a lovely Orgasm Coach... we're livin' it up at the Hotel Seksifornia... any time of year (any time of year) you can find an Orgasm Coach heeeeere. Mirrors on the ceiling... and pink champagne on... OK, enough. It's over. 

There's a damn love hotel in Sweden. Clearly, as evidenced by my butchered Eagles' lyrics, you might suspect there's a gettin' off concierge--AKA Orgasm Coach---on the premises.

High-Collar Ruffle Stripe Fever!

My fab sister, Kelly, took one look at the Pre-Fabü Sneak Peek post and informed me that she, too, had a thing for high-collars, ruffles and stripes... in 1981! Witness the photographic evidence.

VanDyke sisters super-highcollar-ruffle-stripe power!!! BAM! POW! Take THAT! People can't handle it! They simply don't know what to do when faced with this incredibly chic force! They hide like baby childrens or skittering rodents. They. Can't. Take. It.

Was so busy Saturday that I couldn't squeeze in time to deliver this special 78th birthday shout-out to the red-headed stranger. Better late than never. Happy belated, Willie.
