R.I.P.

Oh, Don Cornelius. We'll miss you so much. It's our hope of hopes that you're pain-free now. Can't say that I blame you, sir. Heck, I might even have to go so far as to give you props. There, I said it. 

I know that' s controversial, but I would never judge someone for taking their own life due to terminal illness or incurable, chronic pain. If your quality of life has become so horrible that, until you die, your days will be spent in misery, what kind of life is that? Why should they be forced to suffer?

Just one woman's opinion. Feel free to voice your own. It's welcome and respected here. 

It does sadden me that Don died on the first day of Black History Month. Sigh. 

See you on the other side, Don. Like you always said at the end of every Soul Train, “As always, in parting, we wish you love, peace and soul!”
