Many of my fellow shine defenders are quite familiar with Boscia's signature Blotting Linens. If you forgot about 'em, now's the time to stock up, as they'll donate 10% to aid relief efforts in Japan.

Weekend Wrap-Up
AIDS Walk was great. Big thanks to Kevyn for getting everyone together. Viva Team Bossy!

Was so busy Saturday that I couldn't squeeze in time to deliver this special 78th birthday shout-out to the red-headed stranger. Better late than never. Happy belated, Willie.
Last, but not least, look who's in town from NYC for a wedding...
That's right, kids: It's hair guru, good pal and all-around cool guy, Ian.

House Calls Police on Itself
An empty Massachusetts house called 911 yesterday after water short-circuited the phone lines.
Here's the kicker: The owner has been away for months. Apparently, a pipe burst during the winter and caused massive water damage and potentially toxic mold.
That house needed help, and it wasn't about to wait for that absentee owner anymore. Go on, house! Call the cops on your own! Good for you!
Mariah's Chimps Have Arrived!
Congrats to Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon on the Saturday arrival of their twins. The girl was born first, weighing in at 5 lbs, 3 oz; 18 inches long. Next came the boy: 5 lbs, 6 oz; 19 in. No names released yet.
Cute, cute! Even cuter: yesterday was also Nick and Mariah's wedding anniversary. All together now: awwwww!

Ummm... about the pic... It's titled Joseph forgives his Brothers, as in Genesis 45:1-15 and 50:15-21. It is an illustration from a Bible card published by the Providence Lithograph Company.
That does NOT look like Joseph forgiving his brothers. It looks like Joseph's about to do something entirely different. Haaaay, Joe! Get it! Look at the rest of the girls in the back. Now THAT'S high drama. I love each and every one of them. Fabulous. No question.
All kidding aside, it all kind of ties in with the quote, though: Who knows what Joseph is up to, or what's going on with his posse back there. We need not presume, or attempt to get a handle on what's actually going with Joseph. Let's just leave him alone and let him do his own thing. Live and let live, Joseph. Peace, my brother.
Lesson adjourned.
It's AIDS Walk Morning!
I am preparing for AIDS Walk, childrens! Team Bossy is in full effect. Naturally, pics will be provided later.
Walk on, Team Bossy... walk on! Go!

Wish I could've posted Walk it Out Fosse, but apparently they're in copyright battles and it's off YouTube. SO lame.

41 Fever!
Friday Fabü
Ah, springtime! According to poet Alfred Tennyson, spring is when a young man’s fancy turns to thoughts of love. According to yours truly, this is when everyone’s (at least those with decent grooming habits) fancies should turn to hair removal. Time to shear that winter wool, lambs. Spring has officially arrived!
Royally Tired
I did it! Woke up at 3:30 a.m. (MDT), made a delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon, sweet rolls and tea, and noshed away whilst watching the royal nuptials. Managed to stay awake until a bit after 6 a.m., while they were still herding revelers into the mall in an oh-so-orderly fashion. Really wanted to see the balcony kiss live, but simply couldn't stay awake.
Sure enough, the pre-wedding rumors were true: Kate's dress was, indeed, designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. Classic, refined, reminiscent of the wedding dress of another commoner who became royalty: Grace Kelly, who became the Princess of Monaco. We all heart your dress, Kate. Timeless perfection. Five stars.
